On the Road Again!

G’day there everyone! Yes, after a long stretch at home in Bendigo we have hit the road, northbound, hoping to escape the cold winter and explore New South Wales and Queensland.

First Stop – Tocumwal, New South Wales.

Situated less than one kilometre from the centre of the very quaint town of Tocumwal is the Town Beach Campground nestled amongst the giant redgums and facing one of the biggest sandbars on the Murray Rivers.

The generous community of Tocumwal provides large level sites with clean town water and sullage for the very reasonable fee of $7.50 per person per night. The asceticly pleasing natural enviroment unfortunately competes with the traffic noise along the Newell Highway just on the other side of the river. The Newell Highway is the main trucking route between Melbourne and Brisbane.

Here we enjoyed three days of the magnificent autumn weather whilst getting back into the swing of caravan life.
